Born in 1854 at Sea View on the Isle of Wright

Lived on the Isle of Wright and along with his wife had 11 children.

Samuel worked on a number of Yachts for the Marquis of Sheffield, Duke of Sutherland.

Medals come with Medal Roll,  and C.D. containing details of Yachts served as well as the Census from 1871 to 1901.

EDWIN WILSON

Born 23rd December 1891 London

 Discharge number 707490 Steward.

In 1915 Edwin was on the Beltana this ship became an Australian Transport ship for most of the war. 

The winner will receive a list of ships Edwin served on between 1918 and 1939. Copy service cards

THOMAS  G  WYATT

Born in Tidenham Gloucestershire January 1878

Thomas was lost as sea whilst on the SS  Elwick Park  along with all hands during 1916

The medals come with a lot of  research paperwork . Photo of ships crew list with Thomas on. Details of service during WW1 eta.

EDWARD GEORGE TOWNSEND

Born in Bristol on 1st August 1880

                           War & Victory medals stamped to E.G. Townsend. GSR. M.F.A.                        Mercantile Marine Medal is to Edward G Townsend

Edward served all during WW1 and was still at sea until the summer of 1939 all ships listed apart from 1916, 1917, 1918.

The medals come with a lot of  research, this will be sent electronically to the buyer.

Medals stamped, J.R. Mc Kinley,  SCLN,  M.F.A.

John worked in the kitchens or gally of a ship as a Scallion 

Both medals are stained almost black and have not been to well looked after.

FRANCIS LACEY

Medals are all stamped

Francis had died by 1920 and his medals were sent to his father. 

The only Francis Lacey I could find was a Marine Fireman who died age 21 in Liverpool in October 1918. I will send his death certificate electronically on the sale of these medals.
