HUGH CLOSE WILSON
Born in 1910 , Hugh became a merchant seaman before enlisting into the Royal Navy under its T124X system in December 1940. He served on HMS Bullfinch a cable laying ship in the Mediterranean sea. Promoted to Bosun and served on HMS Holdfast laying the Pluto cable to Normandy in 1944.
Medals come with Hugh's T124X papers from National Archives , these will be sent electronically.
